Why I am never going to Great Clips again
An open letter to the lady that cut my hair tonight.
Dear Haircut Lady,
Thank you for cutting my hair. I realize I was taking much of your time, and keeping you from hanging out with your gentlemen friend. Thank you for not TOTALLY ruining my hair.
Thank you for NOT listening to what I wanted and then NOT doing what I wanted. Thank you for NOT taking the time to get to know me or my hairstyle needs. Thank you for talking to your friend the entire time instead of talking to me. I really was NOT interested in hearing you tell him that you were planning on spending the weekend at the bar, and that you have a three year old out of wedlock child. I was also incredibly NOTinterested to hear him tell you about all the good bars, and how he didn’t want to go home to his new baby and not-wife-mother-of-his-child.
Thank you for reassuring me that you did my bangs the right way when I could see that they were not how I really wanted them. That helped me trust you.
NOT.
Thank you for cutting my hair so quickly. But just as a reminder, you don’t work at Great Clips because of your ability to do a good job in a short amount of time. Thank you for NOT being very thorough in re-checking the cut.
Thank you for letting me know that if I got home and didn’t like it, that I could come back again for FREE. I should friggin hope so.
Thank you for letting me know that you would be at work again on Sunday, so that I knew what day to NOT come in again.
I will NOT be letting you EVER come near my head with a scissors again.
And I really do NOT want to go in tomorrow, but really, something must be done about this do.
Your Un-Client,
Stephanie

I want to see the haircut. I bet I could have done better. I am good at boy hair but no girl has let me near them. Can’t blame them.

Now why on earth would you pay someone to cut your hair when you have children who would willingly do it for free! And I’ve no doubt they could do a better job.

so sorry for your bad haircut. I feel your pain. I heard of someone saying STOP really loud and said the haircut was over, and left. I so wish I could do that. Why do we just sit while our hair is butchered? And nothing worse than hearing the talk of some hairdressers. Gives us all a bad name. There are good ones out there… good luck finding one.

That’s why I don’t get my haircut as often as I would like. I just won’t ago anywhere. And I tell myself it’s harder to cut curly hair because it’s not what you see is what you get after it curls up. I desperately need and want a haircut but stories like this just make we wait until I go home or my friend comes in town to visit.

Oh no! Never under estimate what a bad hair cut can do to a gal! I’ve been in your shoes, or rather that salon chair!! Did you get it fixed???

I’m one of the cheapest people on this planet, but I Pay (with a capital P) for a good haircut. (Even if it only happens once a year.) So sorry for your barber shop blunder.

Your not the lone ranger. Just got butchered myself. It’s really bad. Looks like a five year old cut it. Went to a Dino Palmeri at a mall came ot hacked!! I’m also hacked. As in hacked off! I will say one thing to greedy salon owners out there “stop pushing your stylist’s to rush through appointments so that you can make more money! I will PAY for 2 haircuts to get it done correctly”! So now I have to let it grow for some time and I am going to pay $175.00 to get it cut by a real proffessional!! I Hate hair salons! Well, I guess we go through it together. Mine is infixable!

I got a hair cut at the Great Clips in Ft. Oglethorpe, GA yesterday and the girl absolutely MASSACRED my hair. It’s uneven, not tapered with the back of my hair, etc…looks like my 4-year old niece cut it! I am going to have to go to a “real” salon today to see if something can be done to salvage it.
Run…run away FAST!!! I should have known something was up - this girl acted like she’d never held a pair of scissors before in her life.
And WHY is it that the lighting and mirrors are TERRIBLE in those places, so you can’t tell until you get home that your hair has been annihilated?

RECENTLY HAD MY BANGS AND HAIR TRIMMED AT GREAT CLIPS IN PARRISH FLORIDA. WHEN I WALKED OUT OF THERE MY HAIR WAS STILL WET AND I COULDN’T SEE THE TRUE DAMAGE. THE RIGHT SIDE OF MY HAIR WAS CHOPPED IN LAYERS THAT WERE AS SHORT AS TO THE TOP OF MY EAR. MY BANGS WERE UNEVEN. THE LEFT SIDE OF MY HEAD WAS DOWN ANGLED AT MY JAW LINE AND THE BACK OF MY HAIR WAS SO UNEVEN THAT WHEN I WENT BACK TO HAVE THEM FIX IT THEY HAD TO SHAVE IT!!!!! IF THAT DIDN’T MAKE MATTERS WORSE WHEN I CALLED AND COMPLAINED TO GREAT CLIPS CUSTOMER SERVICE THE OWNER OF THE FRANCHISE CALLED ME BACK. FIRST HE SPOKE AS THOUGH HE DID NOT BELIEVE MY. WHEN I ASKED IF HE SPOKE TO THE 2 STYLIST THAT TRIED TO FIX MY HAIR HE STARTED YELLING AND SPEAKING OVER ME TO “DON’T TELL ME HOW TO RUN MY BUSINESS”. HIS EXCHANGE BECAME SO VEHEMENT THAT HE ACTUALLY WALKED OUT OF THE STORE
HE WAS IN!!!! SO BUYER BEWARE OF GREAT CLIPS!!!!
